Lights on Stratford is an annual winter festival of lights based in Stratford, Canada.  This year’s theme is “Reimagine” and the festival is scheduled to be from December 13, 2024, to January 19, 2025.  The month-long outdoor festival turns Stratford’s heritage downtown and park systems into a glowing winter wonderland of luminous art and interactive light installations.
  
This year, GBDA 412 classes are also contributing to the festival with our own creative takes on the theme in teams.  Our team, Group 4, is creating an interactive digital project titled “Echoes of Tomorrow” which will be on display either through the windows of the University of Waterloo Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business on a projection screen, or on television screens around the school building.  Echoes of Tomorrow fits perfectly with the theme as we reimagine the local Stratford ecosystem to encourage audiences to think about their connection and impact on the environment and sustainability.
